Well, the script is done; my machinima's script is finally done. Hallelujah!
I will be touching up the 60 page script by removing or altering scenes as right now it's a bit too long (though 60 pages would be about 45 minutes), but for the most part its done. That means I can finally start the voice acting part of this production. I'll be getting that informational video out soon so keep your eyes open.
I hope you all had a wonderful time last year with friends and family! I mostly spent time chilling with my family in Austria, and stressing over mock GCSEs coming up. With that said, I'm quite busy. But that doesn't mean I started the new year empty handed script wise. I'm currently working out ideas for an experimental film, another thriller and finishing a script for a Halo machinima. The drama/thriller machinima is about 30 pages long now and I'm very excited about it (I say it's a "drama/thriller" because its more a character study than a scary movie.)
*Now begins the "voice acting opportunities" portion of this post*
I do need boy and girl voice actors and body actors for in-game filming. If you are a good voice actor or are available for playing Halo for filming purposes, I will be posting videos to my YouTube channel that (for voice acting) outline which characters are available, how to make an audition and where to send it and (for body acting) playing times.
•To voice actors: Voice actors should be at least 15, but all they need really is a mature and developed voice. Voice actors should have some experience or should really enjoy acting. They should be able to display a wide range of emotions through their voices and (for some roles) should be able to do some form of accent (German, Russian, English etc.). Most roles will have American accents but some roles will need other ones.
•To body actors: I have made the sets for the movie but they might change over the next few weeks. Also there might be "dress codes" for Spartans (Note: all characters will be Spartans). They won't be too specific, I just need to differentiate characters for the audience. Body actors should be at least average players so as to keep the sessions stress free. Also, rough housing in-game during filming won't be appreciated.
(The number of actors, voice and body, will be specified in the video.)
Those videos will be up some time on the WLD3 Productions channel. Do note that I'm still getting everything set up hardware wise for the machinima and it likely won't be ready to be filmed for a while. But I will keep you posted. Until next time-
